About Us

OUR PROCESS

Here at The Commons, we help people grow into the person God created them to be through a three-part process we sometimes abbreviate to "UP, IN, and OUT."

Common God (UP): The Commons is a church centered around the God revealed in Jesus. We want everyone to orient their lives around faith in Christ, and it is this faith that binds us together as a community. Each week our worship service celebrates our Common God.

Common People (IN): We believe that each of us was created to live in community with people. So we encourage everyone to join (or start) a Community Group where they can share life with other believers. Eat, pray, study, live, laugh, and cry together. And, along the way, you'll learn more about who Jesus is and who He made us to be.

Common Mission (OUT): Jesus described Christians as people who change the world around them. So The Commons is committed to serving our neighbors to change our city. From schools to neighborhoods to the inner city, we want to be part of God's redeeming work here in Fort Worth.
